Campaign

We are working to reduce the workload of administrators by removing the need for messages from suppliers and other commercial companies to be forwarded by the administrator to the teacher.
The ideal solution of course is one in which teachers receive such messages directly to their own email box. They can then manage their own post, thus reducing hugely the workload in the office.
Please do help us with this campaign, by forwarding the note below to teachers in your school. Although we have not set up the service for all teachers yet, virtually every department will be covered by the start of 2009. Here’s the message we’d like you to pass on:
A series of news services has been set up for teachers, which deliver one or two news stories a week straight to your email in box. Over 40,000 teachers have already signed up for the services, and we hope that by 2009 we shall have a service for every subject area in your school.
To check which services are available now, and sign up for any that are of interest, please visit http://[1] www.schools.co.uk/subscribe.html
The service is completely free, and you can leave at any time just by sending an email. We will never supply your email address to any other individual or organisation, nor will we ever charge you. Some of the news items that we supply will have advertisements from school suppliers below them, but the service will not be used to send you advertisements on your own. In this way we aim to reduce the work undertaken by administrators in forwarding email and direct mail adverts to you, as well as reducing the amount of paper used in advertising. If you have any questions about the service you can call us on 01536 399 000.
